And still on the plane. What about those heroes that think that they own the back of your seat. They tap away at their favorite song, they support themselves when they move in and out, they lean on it when they stand.

Don't they understand that you are trying to sleep! They really rile me!

Misdirected light on Airplanes

And what about those lights on airplanes, especially those that cannot be moved.

Those that, when you turn them on, they hit the top of your head, your shoulder, even the seat next to you but not where it needs to so that you can actually read something!

No signage in the Airport

And what about those airports that only have those screens telling you the right gate at the beginning but not later, as you are closing in on a gate!

What if you forget the number or if they change the gate. Well you have to go aaaalllll the way back to the beginning to see what gate to go to, again.

Schipol Airport in Amsterdam, Netherlands, which is a big, big airport, is like that.

That really riles me!

No signage in the Subway

I hate transportation systems with no signage when you need it!

The New York Subway is like that. If you make the mistake of passing the gate before you look at the subway map, or you change your mind on destination, forget it!

No further subway maps are to be found until you find you wat to a platform. Which platform, you may ask? No matter, no maps until you find one.

As that is the only place to find a subway map, then is the only time you can decide how to go where to your destination. Usually requiring you to go back to the beginning (sometimes a loooong walk back) to find the right platform.

That really riles me!

Blogger hosting update

Guess what? I finally heard from someone at Blogger. Here is the reply they gave. Not very successful in terms of finding my lost template but at least the things are clearer.

Wish they would tell us these things earlier, so that we can take precautions!

If anyone out there is using Blogger and you change their template, I suggest you do as I plan to do. Save a regular copy of your template.

No control over hosting!

My blog has not been up for a while and I have repeatedly tried to contact my hosting company, Blogger, without success.

They have not even deigned to answer my numerous emails telling me that they are looking at the problem. To this day I do not know if they are doing something!

They do, of course sent that automatically generated email. I suppose they think we won't realize that it is automatically generated and that we will go blindly into the future without cares.

That's OK if they move and resolve the problem, but not if they don't! I cannot recommend this service.

Waiters expecting tips

Another thing that makes me angry is those waiters that expect a big tip. Just the expectation riles me!

But what really riles me are those waiters who expect it, even when they don't deserve it.

In some towns, New York being one of them, they will run after you (I have seen it happen) if you don't leave the required minimum of at least 15%.

My fast internet connection

I hate it when a telecom company charges you for a fast speed connection, or anything else for that matter, and then it never works as they promise.

My telecom company has offered double my speed on internet for the same charge as before, of course that is after others have been offering the higher speed much cheaper for a long time.

So finally they decide to compete a little and they make big promises...............and it never works.

I have reached the 'high' speeds they have touted maybe 20% of the time, the other times I run much much slower!

Then you call them up and have to go through those machines with dozens of steps just to get to talk to a real person.
